Chris and Jacqui decided to enjoy the sites (and smells) of the Bayou by taking an
Airboat Tour (not with this company, but
similar kind of thing). It is a pretty cool 'boat', with a
teflon-coated bottom which flies over
water, mud and grass and gets you to many parts of the marshes and swamps that no other boats
or vehicles can get to.

Here we see Jac modelling in front of some of the airboats. And on the right is the office of
this very professional tour company.

The tour guides apologized for the lack of
alligators
on the Bayou (too cold for them - all
hibernating) so instead they let us play with a live baby 'gator in the office. Again, Jacqui
shows off her
modelling
skills.

While Chris was busy "working" Jac took a cemetery/voodoo
tour
around the French Quarter. The tour started from
Royal Street
(left) and took in many sites including
a church with painted glass windows (right).

...St Louis cemetery No. 1. The tombs in the cemetery are mostly above ground due to the mushy ground.
